Who is going to the race at NJMP this weekend?
Maybe we can cage it in a group on Sunday to watch the race.

I'll see if I can swing it, but I don't think I can give up the whole day this Sunday...

I'll put it on the calendar for September so we can plan for it.

Jim, are you planning on doing it September with Xtreme, or this weekend?

The Xtreme ride will be in September. I can't make it this Sunday as I will be at Met Life Stadium all day and evening on Saturday and will be pretty worn out.

I'm probably not going this Sunday. The same problem as Ron! I'll be at Met life for the SuperX race on Saturday night.

Watched the races from NJMP on beIn Sports this evening.  The weather was a complete mess so they were delayed and the supersport race was even stopped in the middle and finished later when the weather got slightly better.  It was heartbreaking to see Joe Roberts crash on the last lap after leading the entire time!

Now that I have some experience riding that track it's really cool to watch the pros on TV.  Great to be able to see the lines they take close up, especially coming over "wheelie hill" before turn four.  Too bad it was so wet - the riders had to be very conservative with their cornering.  Hopefully they will have better weather in September.

The qualifying times were 20 seconds per lap quicker! Shows how bad the conditions were. Qual 2 was run in decent conditions so see if you can dig that up to see the true racing lines and speeds. Good coverage overall. One thing to note, the channel guide, on Optimum at least, lists this as Moto GP, or occasionally, generic 'motorcycle racing,' as it does WSBK. You really have to pay attention to your DVR settings.

I've got my DVR set for both MOTOGP and Motorcycle Racing all new shows. That way it just records all new motorcycle racing. This option works best for me.
At times the conditions were very bad. It's amazing they were able to get the day's racing in. Cam was the man in the rain without a doubt! My couch was comfy and dry plus I saw some great passing. Again I love the commercial free coverage.
