Anyone up for a Jan. 1, 2017 ride?  Lets see what the weather brings...

I'd be up for it. And if I don't stay up to watch the ball drop, and the weather holds, The Isle of Man(rattan) run would be pretty cool!

I'll be doing the Isle of Manhattan again this year. I know it's a bit of shlep for you Southern guys but I highly recommend. It's actually a bit of a shlep for me as well now too since I moved West.

I'm up for it as long as we're not looking at snow and ice on Jan 1.  Where did you move to Rob?

OK, so we're only a few days out. Weather looks promising, if not balmy. We've been toying with the annual Isle of MANhattan ride, which would entail arriving in lower Manhattan around 10AM, meeting the rest of the blokes for breakfast, and doing the loop of Manhattan. A pretty big commitment for us, but I'd consider it.

Alternately, we can do an Isle of MANasquan ride. Perhaps meet up in Freehold or Howell area, ride out to the Southern Monmouth shore, and do lunch in Manasquan or Asbury, depending on what's open. Post up your thoughts, RATS and lets get a count and a plan.

The Isle of Manhatten ride was supposed to be a one off bucket list ride for me but here I am coming back for a second time. It can get a little chaotic at times because people are making wrong turns and getting lost but that just adds to the fun of it. Love to see you guys and have a pint possibly afterwards

I don't think I will have the energy to get up that early in the morning after a New Year's eve party to make it to NYC. I vote for a late morning NJ ride.

I'm with Terry on this one.  The last few nights have been late ones for me and I don't see that trend changing for New Years Eve.  I vote for Isle of (Man)asquan.  The weather looks great though so I'll definitely be riding.
