2016 Kawasaki Z1000 OEM rear turn signals on a 2007 Kawasaki Z1000
« on: September 05, 2017, 08:42:43 PM »
Hi everyone,
I need some help. On my2009 Z1000 I had 2 LED turn signals without resistors (the original blinker relay worked fine) but it was time to change them and I always like the ones from a 2016 Z1000. I Ordered and received a pair of 2016 z1000 OEM rear turn signals, installed them but the rear left doesn't work. I checked it everything but I am still clueless. Please give me some help or suggestions. Thanks in advance.
Cheers.

Strange.  Did you swap the new blinkers to see if the problem follows the blinker or stays on the left side?

Did it. It stays on the left side with the old LED blinkers.

Gonna try to buy a different relay. Maybe it will work.

Yeah, I would think the relay is bad if you've already checked the  wiring.  Although these days electrical systems aren't always that simple, but I don't think Kawasaki has gone to a CanBus type system like KTM and BMW yet.
