Most Brilliant R&R Hall of Fame Inductance Speech Ever...
« on: May 19, 2013, 10:52:47 PM »
Just caught the end of the 2013 R&R Hall of Fame induction ceremony.  To my surprise, Rush has finally been admitted. Even better was Alex Lifeson's acceptance speech.  Fucking Awesome.

Long live the power trio. And Rush is still on their game. BTW, I saw Rush OPEN for Mountain in 1974 or 75 at The Casino in Asbury Park. Their first album had just come out, and I've been a fan ever since, even during my angry young punk era. As a rite of passage, I took my then 15 year-old son to see them at the Garden State Arts Center, and it was a great moment.
